WNBA is Starting!!! ⛹🏽‍♀️🏆

Hi Everyone!

I am super excited for this weekend, there are a lot of exciting sports happening. I mean a lot. One really exciting thing that is happening is that the WNBA season is starting today. Yes, it is finally that time of year! There are a lot of big storylines this season. One big one is the absence of Brittney Griner, as you might know, Brittney Griner has been detained in Russia for possession of cannabis oil in her luggage. There is a lot of information about this, and you can look at the blog post I wrote about titled "Free Brittney" or you can also google it. The W is honoring her with a BG decal on their courts. Another storyline is the ending of some historic careers. Most notably this is Sue Bird's last year, this will be her 19th year playing on the court for the Seattle Storm. The other exciting game this weekend is the NBA playoffs! It is the second round and tonight The Miami Heat are playing the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:00! At 9:30 the Phoenix Suns play the Dallas Mavericks. Later this weekend the Bucks and the Celtics play and the Warriors and the Grizzlies play.
