USWNT EQUAL PAY!

This past week the US Soccer team and US Soccer settled part of the equal pay lawsuit. USWNT had accused USSF of gender discrimination and paying the men's team more than them even though USWNT is the more winning team. They asked US Soccer to pay money they owed.The USWNT* had asked for $67 million from US Soccer, but will now get $24 million. This might seem like a huge loss, but USSF* and USWNT had been arguing about the amount of money for six years. So this is a big win in the fact US Soccer finally stepped up and paid what they owed. I will link articles down below better explaining this and giving more detail into the equal pay lawsuit.

I also want to be clear that US soccer is paying USWNT this money, but that doesn't mean that in the future USWNT and USMNT* will have equal pay. USWNT still earns much less even though they are the more successful team.
