Hi Everyone!

I am a ninth grader and I want to share the information I learn around gender inequality in sports! Last year, 2020-2021 I looked into mostly professional sports. The biggest thing I learned from that was how giant the pay gap is! The lowest paid player in the NBA makes a couple thousand dollars more than the most paid WNBA player. Another big thing I found was that only 4% of sports coverage is for women's sports.

Now I am looking into college and high school. Just from the beginning of this search I haven't been able to find much information on high school sports and the inequalities there, so if you have a personal experience that you want to share please message me about it!

The first thing that I am looking into for college sports is the coaching inequality, only 42% of coaches for women's sports are women!

This is just the beginning and if anyone has any ideas for what I should look into or any personal experiences of gender inequality in sports that they have experienced please reach out!
